Thanks, Nic! How can Luke find out earlier? And who else could possibly know before Babette? Taylor maybe? That would be funny... we haven't seen him much outside of town gatherings this season. It's about time for some good ol' ranting-Luke/Tayor encounters.

I cannot wait to see the Emily/Lorelai scotch scene. I really really want Emily to say something encouraging to Lorelai, just once. I think she got a good look at the situation on several occasions, and I hope that she decides that she's ok with Lorelai for who she is. Maybe she'll say something like she's always admired Lorelai for the strong, independent woman that she is, that even though she shut Emily out of her life for a period of time, she is still proud of who she is and her accomplishments. Hmmm, maybe not quite that embellished, definitely not Emily-like, but something along those lines would be nice.

ETA: ITA, Melodie, I'm sick of hearing "maybe this" and "maybe that," please just make up your minds, yes or no. DSR has to be writing the final episodes about now, when will we know for sure? Because at this point, I'm all in for an 8th season and cannot begin to describe my disappointment if we don't get it. There is just no way to wrap it up this season, no matter what.
