After the initial shock when seeing the ring, i start to think that Lorelai not wearing it after her talk with Sookie was more symbolic for the viewers to understand that it was over.
And i agree now she wears it only for Emily. No need to worry  __________________ Luke:"It’s like my life isn’t even real to me unless you’re there, and you’re in it, and I’m sharing it with you."
