| Quote: | I gotta agree with you there, Sarah! All the final scene was was them picking over the bones of a dead relationship. He definately wasn't there to come *home*, or to try to fix things, it's just Lorelai had come to the same conclusion while he was gone. Chris ended the marriage, Lorelai just agreed with him. | Huh? It's dead because Lorelai doesn't have the feelings for him. She wants to (who knows why, but save that for another time). But even with her best efforts, "the feelings aren't there". Her feelings aren't there. Not his. Hers.
I didn't feel moved, but they broke up when she said:You’ve always been this ... possibility for me. this wonderful possibility. But it’s just not right. and i’m so sorry. i’m so sorry
C: Yeah. I guess i should have known, He didn't initiate anything. They both agreed that she doesn't have feelings for him. __________________ Lorelai, about her dog: He's totally fine having his personal freedoms slowly stripped away,
