Lorelai walks back into inn. talks to sookie. Sookie's taste buds are all off. Michel has dog with him, says dog has to be there because his brother died the night before. Lorelai and Sookie try to be concilatory to him. They mess up on which dog was which and Michel explodes on them. He calms down and says that he can't believe that he's gone. Lorelai suggests having a memorial service. Michel says it will be tomorrow and she should get started on it right away. Lorelai and Sookie continue talking trying to figure out which dog died.
Paris and Rory in apartment. Paris took notes on some party for Rory and gives her some mail. Paris asks how Richard is and Rory tells her. Paris took the initiative to hide the books Rory needs in the bookstore. Paris fills Rory in on some class they are taking together. Paris asks if Rory has her resumes ready like they had planned. Paris has 21 different versions of hers. Rory forgot. Rory opens up a 2nd semester senior survival kit that Logan sent her. Rory calls Logan to thank him. Logan asks how she is doing and offers to come up to visit her if she wants. Rory tells him to come on Sunday. Paris asks why Rory's face is soo happy. Rory says it's because he's been so wonderful lately. Paris says she can't believe it but Rory has broken Logan. Rory insists she hasn't but Paris disagrees.
Dragonfly, Lorelai helps people at the desk. Michel asks if she has time to talk. Leads into Directors Cut scene.
Lorelai runs into Chris in the inn after she leaves the meeting. They go to a room to talk. Chris says he was upset and needed space. Lorelai says that their family should be more important than that. Lorelai says that part of her wasn't even surprised that Chris wasn't there.
