| Yup, it's a remake! I think Monica Bellucci starred in the original movie with her now-husband, Vincent Cassel, but I could be wrong. 
I haven't seen any of her European films. She's in a movie coming out in November, National Treasure which has one of my favorite actors, Sean Bean (Boromir from Lord of the Rings). It also has Jon Voight. Apparently it's by the people that did Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl.
