I really like that all the Gilmore's were there for each other too.

He proved that he really loves and wants to be with her. Though they did not kiss at all in the episode there were some really intimate and sweet gestures, like the times he put his hnad on her thigh.

I like that they didn't make a big deal out of it. That instead it was shown as something perfectly natural. You know what I mean?
For example, when Logan mentions he came in in a helicopter. It's not overplayed at all, it just mentioned in an offhand way. I like that.
