I thought Emily's scene at the end was great - KB rocks. I enjoyed the mother/daughter chat in the cafeteria. R/L were enjoyable to watch also. I loved the way Luke looked at Lorelai at the end.
It looks like Lorelai is starting to wake up. I could tell exactly when it happened, during the last cell phone message she left for Chris. You could see the change in her expression and tone when she started talking about what married people do. I enjoyed the scene, but I can't understand why it took her so long to figure this out.
I thought it was interesting how Chris was escorted to Richard's room because he was "family", even though he didn't deserve to be included. Then Emily says "Blood is thicker than water." So I'm guessing she means that even if Chris is a jerk, he's family so you let him slide. It was telling, I thought, how Lorelai stared at the bags of Luke's food after Emily said that. I don't believe Lorelai is agreeing with her at this point. __________________ Avi by MaRie
