| PART FOUR (Yes, this is it  )
Logan, Rory, Lorelai and Emily are waiting. Emily is trying the candy. The doctor comes and tells them the surgery went extremely well. He will have a long recovery. But they can visit when he's more awake, but Emily can go in now.
Emily is sitting at Richards bedside. She is filling him in on everything she has done, Richard is barely awake. Richard tells her it sounds fine. They smile at each other.
Lorelai tries Chris again. Tells him the surgery went well. She says she's his wife. She's trying. HE should be there or call her back. Be there. She says this is bigger then the fight. She lists everyone who was has called, and he's not there.
Rory is playing Richard his fave record. Lorelai and Rory go on about the name Bing. Rory tells him about the books she brought.
Lorelai asks now if he'd rather be here or Philly. He says he'd rather be here. Lorelai says he looks tall. Richard says he's gonna close his eyes. He falls asleep. Rory and Lorelai watch hi sleep. Lorelai says shes glad Rory and Logan are dog so well. She's happy she's happy. He's a good kid. Rory asks if she knows where Chris is. Lorelai says no. Maybe he's in Philly.
Emily is talking to the doctor. Rory and Logan follow. Luke is back, dropping off food. Lorelai says he didn't have to do that. That the surgery went well. While they are talking, it cuts to Chris showing up, asking where Richard is. The nurse directs him, and he finds out Richard is OK. He sees Luke and Lorelai talking about the food, walks up to them. Luke says he's gonna go, Chris says he should.
Lorelai says Luke just brought food, Chris says he doesn't want to talk about it now. Rory sees him, and Chris asks how she is. He goes with Rory to see Richard.
Emily tells Lorelai it will be alright. Blood is thicker then water.
