Emily is eating milk duds with Lorelai. Doctor come and tells them they he’s out of surgery, he’s tired and Emily can go see him. Emily goes to see Richard and gives him an update on what she’s done while he’s been in surgery, getting everything in order.
We see the ambulance passing by. Lorlai calls Christopher again. Tells him Richard is out of surgery and doing fine. She tells him she wants him to know even though she doesn’t know why because he hasn’t returned her calls. Don’t know how to be his wife but she is trying. She thinks married people should be there for each other. She know they had a fight and he’s upset but he should be there with her. She’s his wife, he should be there with her. Sookie, Patty, Michel and Babbette have been there for her and he, her husband, has not has not been there. It’s not ok Chris, it’s not ok.
Rory and Lorelai are in the hospital room with Richard. Rory plays some music from Bing Cosby for him. Tells Richard the names of the records she brought him. Lorelai asks Richard “Here or in Philadelphia what’s the call?” He tells her he would rather be in New Haven than Philadelphia. Lorelia tells him he looks good and he looks tall. Richard tells her he’s going to close his eyes for a minute. Richard and Lorealai Rory talk a bit as they look at him. Lorelai tells Rory she’s happy she’s with Logan and that he’s not half bad. She’s happy Rory is happy with Logan and she’s glad to see they are doing so well. Rory asks her where dad is and she says she doesn’t now. For all she know maybe he’s in Philadelphia.
Doctor takes Emily to show her where Richard’s room is and tells her that he can go home in 6 days.
Luke comes back to drop off bags of food for them. Luke tells her he didn’t want to bug them he just wanted to drop off some food for them. Lorelai tells him didn’t have to do that. He asks about her father. She tells him the surgery went well and Richard can go home in a couple of day. She tells him that Richard looks good and tall. Luke tells her that’s ok, Richard is s a big man.
Christopher comes down the hospital hall and asks the nurse for direction to Richard’s room. He starts to ask her if Richard is ok. Christopher goes towards Richard’s room. He sees Luke and Lorelai talking about the contents of bag. Luke tells Lorelai he should get going and Christopher tells him he should. They give each other a nasty look. Luke tells Lorelai he’s glad her dad is doing good. Lorelai tells Chistopher you came she didn’t think he would come. Christopher does want to talk to Lorelai about anything. Emily comes up and says hello to Christopher. Rory comes running when she sees Christopher. She is happy to see him. Christopher goes off with Rory and leaves Emily and Lorelai standing together. Emily tells her “it will be all right”, “every cloud has a silver lining” and “love is thicker than water”. Camera pans away leaving Loreali and Luke standing

Sorry about the delay in the previous scene. I submitted it and went back to transcribing and didn't realize it hadn't gone until I came back to post this one.
