| Someone at L/L thread suggested that the line Lorelai says about not even wanting to be in the marriage is possibly not said to Chris. Maybe she says it to Sookie while they are planning the funeral for Michel's dog or something. Promos have been misleading in the past.
I would love it if she is saying it to him but now I'm not feeling all that certain.
I do hope he comes back all puffed up with ideas about how they can work it out - probably thinking she has been pining for him - lays out a litany of things that need to change including her not seeing/speaking to Luke, moving from SH and she lets him know that she has no intention of doing any of those things because she doesn't "even" want to be in the marriage.
Luke being at the hospital is rubbish? He's not going to be there for E/R - he's going to be supportive of Lorelai and Rory - and since Emily accepts his help - I guess he isn't so unwanted after all since her son-in-law in missing in action. And, if this is rubbish, then Partings and French Twist (in particular) is rubbish times one million. At least there is a backstory for Luke being there. |
