I think it's especially important if this is the last season, and not because Emily accepting Luke is vital to the show but rather that Emily accepting that Lorelai is truly in love is vital to the show. I'd love for this to be made very clear. Don't know how this will be done, but I'm certain ASP had this sort of closure in mind for the last season. __________________ When you figure out love is all that matters after all
