| I think maybe Mitchum has fnally realized that Rory is important in Logan's life and may have some influence with him and so he talks to her about Logan's direction. Which is really crappy - that is such an unfair thing to do.
If she says she would rather not because Logan is following his own path or whatever he is doing and she doesn't want to interfere, Mitchum may wind up blaming her down the line. If she agrees, Logan might get pissed that she did something his father wanted regarding him. It's a no-win situation.
The description says he finds out something about the company he bought - maybe there was something hinky with the company he didn't know about when he bought it and now it is coming to light?
As to Emily's reaction - I'd kind of like her to say something like life is too short to stay in an unhappy marriage or something....given the scare Emily just had with Richard, she may see things a tad different. |
