No one's going to jump down your throat. At least, I hope not. I just disagree.

Opposites like Nathan and Haley work. They are the exception.

But people who have a lot in common tend to last quite a long time in their romances with each other, for various reasons. And therapists and psychologists point this out quite often, which is why you see dating services matching up people who have enough or a lot in common. I never got the whole "opposites attract" thing as making the best couple, and I still don't...unless they are like NH. I do feel that opposites attract, and some can last, but in the real world, at least from research of most therapists who counsel romantic couples, it puts quite a strain on romances and leads to those two lovers parting ways more than any other variety of couple.

Thus what I love about NH is that they are the exception. Opposites that just work. Although, I don't feel that they are extreme opposites. They make sense, regardless of their differences.

I know you feel that BL makes sense too, so I realize those are your thoughts, and I respect them. I just feel that LP are more than broody and can have fun together. Though I wasn't too fond of Lucas' letter-passing to Peyton in class, I did like the cookie dough fight between them, and I think I would have liked that scene if it had been BL instead as well. I could totally picture Brooke having done that. She's quite bubbly in personality.

Now that I think about it, I've never been excited about a Prom episode. I mean, I want to see LP together romantic-wise at Prom, but I never gave much thought to Prom before, not even my own when I was in High School, although I was quite well-known. And I never really cared about who will win Prom King or Prom Queen on a television show either... I guess I still don't this year.

Eva, do you watch Beverly Hills 90210 on the channel Soapnet? I turned pass that channel the other day and saw it on there.

Yep.

One represents the state of mind of want in which want can always be changed.

The second represents a direct comparison of the two girls in which one can never compare to the other; the true love can never be outdone.
