I understand that but it sounds as if people are saying that Lorelai's life won't be complete without having a baby with Luke, as if neither Rory nor April rate because they weren't the biological child of the other person and that Lorelai's experience of motherhood with Rory doesn't matter in this equation. If you're talking about Lorelai's relationship with a man, that's one thing but if you're talking about her role as a mother than Lorelai has had her middle -- a very special middle. | According to Lorelai in SS, her middle included marrying Luke and having children. Or am I remembering that scene wrong?
Anyway, I think it would be nice for Luke to be able to experience the first 12 years of his child's life, and for Lorelai to experience raising a child with an involved father around. It doesn't mean their lives aren't complete already. However, it doesn't mean that it wouldn't add something worthwhile to their lives either. __________________ Avi by MaRie Andy/Nina Everwood |
