| I'd say the walking out is not that uncommon, Luke went back to his place after the fought (ironically over Chris). Lorelai walking away from Luke in Partings. In both of these cases for the person left behind there was a level of trust and belief the other just needed to vent and cool down. In TPDR it worked and Lorelai came by a few hours later and thing were fine, in Parting not so much.
As for this week Lorelai probably expected him home and in bed the next morning or sleeping on the couch but he doesn't even answer his phone for how ever long. Maybe the reason Lorelai breaks if off is the trust she has built since their date in ep 4 is gone? |
