If it's true, what Ausiello wrote:
that the engagement/pregnancy plot has been scaled back, we can expect, that:
1/ they want Lorelai to be an independent, not married woman at the end of this season as a series finale;
or
2/ it's possible, there will be season 8, and they need this storyline for the next year!
