I really would have also liked some richard/rory at yale stuff before he collapses than those scenes. its pointless because we already know lorelai is trying to make her marriage work and luke and anna fighting over april. | I think the Anna/Luke scene wasn't completely pointless, just because of the sweet feeling of victory we'll have when we seem Anna being totally taken off guard because of the letter and the outcome of the case.
And the CL one is odd because it shows just how good things were going, and then how bad things will be once she returns to the CS. Both scenes are providing good parallels to the outcomes we already know.
But I do wish we could have more Richard stuff. I've always loved Richard/Rory scenes, and the ones at yale in season 4 were some of my favorites. I hope we have more as far as Rory/Richard than just Rory in class before he collapses. |
