From the LA Times:

The Museum of Television and Radio announces the line-up for their annual William S. Paley Television Festival.
By Elizabeth Snead, Times Staff Writer
January 23, 2007

What does George Lucas have in common with "The Simpsons," "Heroes" and "Anerican Idol?" They're all part of this year's lineup for the Museum of Television and Radio's 24th annual William S. Paley Television Festival, scheduled for March 1-15 at the museum in Beverly Hills.
In addition to an evening devoted to Lucas and all things "Star Wars" on March 4, the festival will feature a night with "American Idol" stars Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and Ryan Seacrest. The "Idol" event kicks off the proceedings on March 1.

NBC's rookie sensation, "Heroes," takes center stage March 10 with several cast members scheduled to appear, including Ali Larter, Masi Oka and Hayden Panettiere. "The Simpsons" panel, which features executive producers Matt Groening and James L. Brooks, celebrates 400 episodes of the Fox comedy hit and closes out this year's event.

The two-week festival brings together some of the biggest names and hottest properties in entertainment for group discussions as well as screenings of episodes or highlights from their shows. This year's lineup also includes the stars and creators of "The Office," "Nip/Tuck," "Brothers and Sisters," "Dexter," "Ugly Betty," "Prison Break," "The Closer," House" and "Jericho."

The event is open to museum members and the general public. Tickets go on sale to MTR Members on Feb. 1, and will be made available to the general public on Feb. 4. For more information on panels and tickets, go the MTR website MTR | Home.
