I had a problem with Lorelai entering the marriage in the first place, since I always thought she didn't really love Chris and wasn't over Luke. But I think getting out of the marriage is the first smart thing she's done.
I do think the contrived breakup between L/L and the head-scratching marriage to Chris has harmed Lorelai's character though. Unless the writers can give us an explanation that makes sense. I've read your posts on that other place on why she did so, Saranoh, but I'd like to see it addressed on the show. |
