He wasn't looking to take Luke's money. | And Luke wasn't looking for a free gift. We don't know that Logan viewed it as a gift either since that was never said. At any rate, Luke's not the type to accept something that expensive without expecting to pay for it, especially when it's to give as a gift to someone else. I don't consider wanting to pay your own way as being ungrateful -- being a guest at Logan's house is one thing, accepting expensive gifts is another.
