and ITA she needs to do something (actions bigger than words) in front of Luke or that Luke will find out about and turning down Dopey is the way to go. I doubt she will say she doesn't love him ('cause I think she will always) but maybe she says "I don't love you that way" or enough.
ETA - maybe Luke will say he's sorry that the marriage didn't work, kinda like Lorelai did with Nicole. |
