Booth and Brennan investigate a dead FBI agent who was working a case on corrupt members of a task force in the 1970's. To further their investigation, they ask for the FBI agent's remains to be recovered. Booth must deal with the conseqences of investigating the FBI agent. Brennan's brother makes an appearance with a message for Brennan, and Zack must defend a dissertation he wrote in front of a professor and his colleague.
