She would reference talking to her dad or getting a message from him on various occasions. They can never go back and make up something that's long since past. The day when Rory needed a father in the home is gone. She's gone. And if, after this marriage winds down, Chris appears to "disappear" from her life, it's not going to be because they are not in contact but because the actor's not appearing on the show and we've only got whatever Rory and Lorelai say are happening between Rory and Chris to rely upon. __________________ The four stages of Life. |
