| Quote: | Why wouldn't she step up and make sure it does work out between her and her father? Isn't that what everyone's wanted all along, for Rory's relationship with her father to be independent of Lorelai? Surely the end of Lorelai and Christopher does not mean the end of Rory having any relationship with her father, just as she was having before Lorelai rang his doorbell that night. | She never has before, that was my point. It'd be something different. I think the expectation is history will repeat itself - Chris will disappear from her life again, and Rory will just expect/accept it. Some seem to think Chris should be the one making the effort because he has 22 years of amends to make. Rory being there to support her dad for a change would be a different angle. __________________ The whole business is built on ego, vanity, self-satisfaction and it's total crap to pretend it's not Icon by tv_lindy |
