I know I'm leaving myself wide open, but I can't think of any other way to put this - Some scenes do last two minutes and still have a big significance. Like the one we know is coming next week.
But still. I'd like to see MORE of Rory's story. As in, more minutes - more screentime. Her own story as well as the R/L story.
Yes, I got the significance of that R/L scene. And for their relationship, I can see how that conveyed what was being said, for this episode.
Perhaps if someone timed it, the screen-minutes weren't even as disproportionate as they felt last night - but that's how they felt when I watched this ep.  __________________ Lorelai, about her dog: He's totally fine having his personal freedoms slowly stripped away,
