"Yeah" was disappointing on the one hand, but on the other it's Veronica and we all know she has serious issues with that kind of stuff. Plus they're obviously not OK and I feel so bad for Logan. He really is perfect now!! | Don't forget, even when Duncan was running off to Australia and he told Veronica that he loved her, she didn't automatically say 'Yeah or Me too', etc. If she was going to placate someone, you'd think she would have told Duncan she loved him before he disappeared from her life, but she didn't, because acknowledging that she loves someone means something to her. Yeah, she did love Duncan, but I don't think she was in love with him in S2 and she didn't want to give him the wrong impression. I absolutely have no doubt that Veronica wouldn't have said 'Yeah' when Logan asked if she loved him, if she didn't truly love him. Given how hard it is for her to say, I can absolutely see 'You know I love you too' or anything along those lines just not being something Veronica can say when point on the spot. I see her working up to it, before she lets herself be fully vulnerable enough to just say, 'I love you' or 'I'm in love with you.' |
