Lorelai is leaving a message on Rory’s voice mail telling her to call her back right away because she wants her to come over tonight. Chris comes in and tells Lorelai that there have been enough phone calls to Rory. Chris asks Lorelai what she would think of a waterfall feature right beside her fireplace and a flat screen TV above the fireplace. They banter about small town life versus a bit flat screen TV. Rory calls Lorelai back and tells her that she needs to come for dinner tonight. Rory says that she cannot come over but Lorelai insists. As Lorelai makes up some lavish tale about snails Chris laughs and shakes his head. Finally Rory gives in and says she’s going to come. Lorelai is concerned that Rory doesn’t know yet. Chris tells her that Rory will be happy. Lorelai proposes that she should tell Rory by herself but Chris reminds her that they decided to tell her together. The leave the CS talking about where to get snails from – for dinner.

Rory is talking to Logan on her cell while she walks out of the elevator into their apartment. As she walks in, she sees him and jumps on him and then playfully smacks his arm. She is grinning while telling him that for once he should call to tell her he’s coming. He says that it’s more fun when he surprises her. He tells her about the pre-launch party. He’s all excited while he tells Rory that Bobby has invited quite the guestlist. Rory looks a bit uncomfortable. Logan says stuff to her about Bobby to tell her that it’s nothing. Rory understands and says somethings that illicit a snort/laugh from Logan, that I don’t catch (too fast). Logan asks Rory if she wants to help him look for apartments in Manhattan. She’s “sooooo happy” because it’s only 1 hour away. She asks him why he can’t move in here with her but he says that he’d just see too much of the I-95 and needs to be closer to work. However, Rory can continue staying at the apartment. They talk about all of Logan’s stuff, which Rory thinks that he should take with him but he says that she can keep it in this apartment. Apparently, his suit of amour is called “Henry.”
Like is talking to April while she’s reading a textbook and realizes that she’s not paying attention. He tells her to wash her hands because dinner is ready. April gossips with Luke about friends at school. He is really into it. April is talking about going to an overnight party where a boy is invited. Luke looks uncomfortable at it. He asks her if Anna is ok with it. April says, of course. Luke asks her if there will be kissing at the party. April freaks out saying that he can’t say kissing to her and she screams ewwwwww.
Rory walks into the CS and Lorelai kisses both her cheeks (like in France). All three of them sit at the kitchen table. Rory asks what else they did in France. Lorelai is stalling and offers Rory snails. Rory asks again. Lorelai tells Rory that her and Chris got married. Rory is shocked and then says wow and congratulations. She asks them how and when. Chris explains it to her. Rory asks if they went there to get married. Lorelai says that they didn’t go there with the intention to get married. It just happened. Rory says that she’s happy for them. Chris goes to grab some champagne. Lorelai asks Rory what she thinks. Rory says that she doesn’t know and that she’s mad and that she can’t do this because Dad is going to come back in soon. Rory smiles.

Rory walks into the Launch party. Logan looks happy to see her when Rory tells him that he parents got married. She says that she feels bad, when he asks her. He offers her to go outside and talk about it, but he’s ok. He also tells her that it’s a lot to process and if she wants to leave, he understands. She insists on staying. He starts pointing out people to Rory. Philip and Nick see Rory and greet her. Bobby comes up to her and says hi. Tripp comes up and says hi to Bobby and Logan. Logan introduces him to his girlfriend, Rory. Tripp waits for Rory to kiss him. Then waits for her to kiss him on the other cheek. Tripp talks about some funny story. A photographer comes up and asks to take a picture of the four of them then Bobby goes off to give names to the photographer. As Tripp chats on and on, Bobby saves Logan and Rory from them by interrupting and pulling him off. Logan introduces Rory to yet another person, who just started an online magazine. Logan brags about Rory being at Yale and then being the YDN Editor. Philip pulls Logan away and Rory ends up chatting with the online magazine guy. He tells Rory that if she wants to submit something to his site he’d love it. He says that he’s looking for a social piece (didn’t catch the whole thing). Logan joins them and the guy takes off. Rory tells Logan that she was offered a chance to write the piece. He says that he’s happy for her right when he’s interrupted again.
Lorelai leaves more messages for Rory. She tells Rory that she really wants to talk to her about it.
Logan is reading Rory’s piece while she’s excitedly talking about it in their apartment the next morning. Rory checks her voicemail, hears it’s Lorelai and hangs up. Rory asks Logan what she thinks about the piece. He’s upset and he quotes parts from her piece. Rory explains that she was trying to joke about it. It’s a good argument but I can’t seem to catch all of it here. Logan tells Rory that she is excitedly like them and him. She has a trust fund, she went to prep schools, her grandparents are building an astronomy building in her name. She says that it’s not that she asked for it (I think – boy they talk fast). He then says, “Well, you’re not paying rent either.” She says, “Screw you, Logan” and walks off.
04:
Luke is talking to April about the party tonight. April has a little stomachache. Luke calls April, “sweetie” and tells her that she doesn’t look too good. Luke goes on to talk to her about the party. He uses the word “juggling” in lieu of “the k-word.” He tells her that she shouldn’t juggle if she’s not ready. She claims that he wouldn’t know if she’s ready. He makes her promise not to juggle with any boys. Luke realizes that April is sick – she has a fever. He’s not letting her go to the party and she gets very upset. She tells him that he sucks as a dad and then storms out.
Lorelai checks her voicemail and hears that there are no messages. Chris walks by with laundry. Lorelai jokes about what he wears and then notices a shirt of hers in his laundry. Chris takes a box to Rory’s room, which is now GG’s room. Lorelai is a bit uncomfortable with all the moving around of things in Rory’s room. She tells him that she’d rather not change Rory’s room around and let GG stay in the room as it is. Chris tries to assure her. Lorelai blurts out that Rory is upset about their marriage. Chris is upset that Lorelai didn’t tell him earlier. She agrees with him, but says that Rory’s not returning her calls. Chris agrees with Lorelai that they need to give Rory time to adjust. He looks upset and hurt.
05:
Rory is upset and venting to Lucy and Olivia. He says how he totally begged her to move in and now he’s upset at her. Lucy and Olivia offer for her to move in but technically it’s not allowed. Olivia read the article and says that she’s a good writer but the article is mean – really mean. Lucy starts reading it and agrees. Rory gets hit with the realization that she’s mean and judgemental. She realizes that Logan was right about the article.
Luke is trying to coax April to talk to him. She’s moaning in pain and holding on to her stomach. He realizes that she’s very hot with a fever. Luke calls Lorelai freaking out. He tells her that she’s holding her right side. Lorelai says that it could be her appendicitis. Luke takes April to the hospital. In the waiting room, while he’s waiting for April (she had an operation for her appendicitis), Lorelai walks in. He thanks Lorelai for coming. Lorelai commiserates with him on taking children to the hospital. The doctor walks in and calls them Mr. & Mrs. Nardini and Luke corrects him. As Lorelai corrects him, too, Luke notices her ring and Lorelai looks like she’s “caught” (the best way I can describe her look). Luke goes in to see April with the doctor.
06:
Logan is on the phone when Rory walks in. Logan hangs up with Nick. Logan apologizes to Rory that he’s still there. Rory says that it’s his apartment. Logan completely apologizes to Rory and tells her that he loves that she’s there, he was just upset. Rory tells him that she’s very sorry about the article. Rory tells him that she’s really proud of him and of what he’s doing. They talk it out and then start kissing. Rory tells Logan that she loves him so much. He tells her that he loves her, too. Rory says that she has to move out of the apartment because he’s getting his own apartment anyway. She says that she gets Henry, anyway. Someone knocks at the door and it’s Lorelai. Logan lets her in and then he leaves to give them time alone. Lorelai explains the wedding to Rory. Rory says that she’s not upset that they got married because they belong together. She’s just upset that she wasn’t there. Rory tells Lorelai that she would be upset if she got married without her. Rory says that all she had to do is call her and she would have been there. Lorelai states that she didn’t want to be talked out of it. Rory confirms that she wouldn’t have talked her out of it, except that she should have gotten married in the States so she could have friends and family there. She tells her, ok, she may have ended up talking her out of it but that she’s really happy for them. Rory asks if she took Dad’s name. Lorelai says that she didn’t – she didn’t want to be Haden Planetarium. She’s Lorelai Gilmore.
Lorelai is back in Rory’s room, moving furniture which wakes Chris up. Chris asks her about how April is. Lorelai says that she saw Luke and Chris asks her how she felt about it. She says it was ok. Lorelai tells Chris that Rory is happy with the marriage. She makes plans to paint Rory’s room for GG.
Like is sitting in April’s recovery room and changes the TV to the Discovery channel. Then he starts switching channels and stops at a movie that is on the tip of my tongue but I can’t place it.
