LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - E! Entertainment Television has greenlit a third season of the reality series "The Girls Next Door," which revolves around the lives of Hugh Hefner's three girlfriends at the Playboy Mansion.
The first of the 10 half-hour episodes is set for a spring premiere. The second-season premiere of "Girls" on July 30 was the network's highest-rated original program telecast since 2003 among households (1.63 million total viewers).
This season is pacing nearly 30 percent ahead of last season among households as well as improving across all key demos. In addition, the show is attracting more than twice as many total viewers as E!'s total-day average (616,000 vs. 302,000). __________________ Tiff
