"On an all new Gilmore Girls, here on the new CW. Luke and Lorelei fans, if you're out there, Episode 13 marks a major turning point in the Luke/Lorelai/Christopher triangle. Hello? Are you out there LL fans? Is this thing on!?!? Well, if any of you are left, this is the beginning of the turn around for you fans, who had to wait through the beginning of the season of "The Hayden Girls." Of course, Luke and Christopher choose to deal with Richard's health crisis in very different ways because as we know, they are very different men. Luke chooses to run around helping Emily, who all along has treated him like a piece of *@!#. Maybe Emily will actually see how great he is. Meanwhile, Christopher, who was always Emily's favorite, in his classic immature way, chooses to go off and sulk (because he can't buy his way out of an illness) about a bad fight (over who's prettier), that he had with Lorelai, who is slowly getting her sanity back. Cue the inevitable Lorelai epiphany about all of the mistakes she made at the beginning of the season, especially the excessively long, speeches. She also has another epiphany and remembers to tell Logan to use less gel and to tell Rory to get a grip about obsessing over her future. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll breathe a sigh of relief that DS's contract is up. Here on an all new GILMORE, not Hayden, Girls. Here on the new CW. Oh, and we fired those aerie airheads, too." |
