Back by (un)popular demand! 
"Ode to a Beard"
There once was an actor whose name was Scott.
We here at Fan Forum all think he’s really hot.
One morning on the website they call “Wire Image”
Was a new group of pictures with a startling visage!
That can’t be Scott Speedman, he looks much too weird.
What’s that on his face… is it really his beard?
Meanwhile at the TIFF, his fans would stop and stare.
Many were heard comparing him to a big, grizzly bear.
His mum was upset as she showed him the news.
He felt so embarrassed, he looked down at his shoes.
“Aw ma, it’s just a beard!", he said, trying to calm her.
But the Globe & Mail headline read, “Speedman to play Unabomber?”
A few short days later, he flew to New York…
Maybe in the Big Apple he wouldn’t feel like such a dork.
He hopped on the subway and sat next to a nurse.
He noticed she looked frightened as she tightly gripped her purse.
He needed to walk and get a breath of fresh air.
So he and his beard got off at Washington Square.
He walked and he walked, then sat down for a rest.
But a bird landed on him thinking his beard was her nest!
Later on, he met his friend for dinner at Po.
The hostess took one look, and wrapped his dinner “to go”.
“Hey man, it’s just a beard”, he found himself saying.
But here at Fan Forum, we find ourselves praying.
We know it’s for his movie, that big, atrocious beard.
But we’re counting the hours until he gets sheared!
