She let out a slight chuckle, fully aware that his previous compliment was just a gesture of politeness. And she couldn't blame him, what high school guy wasn't excited to hang out and party? He didn't have to stick by her side all night if he didn't want to. "Yeah, it's gonna be wild tonight," she gave another laugh, scanning the crowd for other familiar faces. People were already milling about and some were even off in secluded spots to be alone with a special someone. She kept her fingers laced with his, she smiled and leaned over to give him another kiss. Letting a hand snake up his arm and rest behind his neck, she pressed her lips to his again. Making out could be considered one of her favorite past times, not that it was a bad thing. He was her boyfriend, after all.

Travis chuckled up at her after his lame compliment, laughing at his own stupidity. Watching her sit down, he felt the familiar pang of guilt again. He couldn't keep his eyes off her, and yet, he almost didn't want to be looking at her in that way. He knew he should confide in Dom, let him know about his more-than-friends vibe he got with Jennifer. But, maybe she didn't feel the same way in return? Then he'd just come off as creepy. He glanced sideways at her, watching her fiddle with her hoodie strings nervously before speaking to him. "I've been good," he nodded. "How about you? School going good?" he asked half-heartedly. To tell you the truth, he didn't care about school, he didn't care about this small talk. He just wanted to tell her subtley he might be interested, but there was no easy way to go about that.
