He said he'd send the ticket the next day, not that the plane would leave.
I agree about the scene with Lorelai/Sookie -- that whole 'I needed it to be over' discussion ripped my heart to shreds --then my heart was ripped to shreds again in that final scene, with the begging and then Luke's face when she told him she'd slept with Christopher. I felt like someone punched me!
I think they
need the time apart. And honestly, I've made my peace -- as long as neither of them ends up with someone else, I can deal with them not together in the end. Though I think that they have to find their way back to each other -- even if it is just as friends. I'm curious as to how long it will take, though.
