I missed the Rory/Marty friendship thing too. And I assume it will continue as a friendship too. Wasn't there a spoiler saying that Rory wouldn't have any new love interests this season?
Or does it mean that
old love interests could return, ie Marty?
If he's gonna come back, and Rory still won't be romantically interested in him, I hope he's moved on too.
