Who would say that one of the young actors most famous and most well payed in the world would be so shy?
The red-headed wizard, Ron Weasley, after a few hits playing golf, he showed us how it's like to be famous!
Very embarassed, with his arms strained and with his hands inside his pants pockets, in a shy way. Between smiles and hand shaking, Rupert Grint, Ron Weasley of the Harry Potter movies, greets "TV7 DIAS", just after being "caught" enjoying his vacation in Quinta do Lago, in Algarve. As if the reporters were "important" and he was just an English boy enjoying the well deserved rest, the young actor, who's already an idol for thousands of people all over the world, let us take some pictures of him on vacation, he had a conversation with us and also gave us an autograph for "TV7 DIAS"'s readers. He's an example for several national celebrities.
Despite already being so loved and admired by so many people all over the world, the ones who had the chance and the luck of enjoying the holiday with the well-known wizard Ron, were the Portuguese.
Rupert, who is 17 years old, was on vacation for 2 weeks in a house, in Quinta do Lago, with his parents, Nigel and Jo, and his 4 siblings (3 sisters and 1 brother). He was at George Benson's Concert, in Vale do Lobo, Almancil, but the rest of the time was passed playing golf in that wonderful luxury condominium.
"It's my first time in Portugal, but I'm loving it. I wanna be here. Portugal is a paradise", he said. However, the young actor hopes to discover more about the country, next time he's here. These days of rest and relaxation were dedicated to one of his favorite sports. "I confess I haven't explored many of the places here yet, we stayed here only (Quinta do Lago), because I play golf and this place is fantastic," he said. He also confessed that he had gone to the beach for only one day . "It was really hot and I'm not used to it. But the sea is awesome, with warm water, great."
[Nigel] Grint, his father, also wants to come back. "We loved to be here, it's great for the kids", Nigel said.
Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix, the fifth title inspired by J.K.Rowling, will be released in theatres worldwide just about July 13th, 2007, but the film-making started in February.
"Vacations are already over, because he has to get back to work on the fifth movie.", tells Nigel Grint. He's leaving Portugal and returning to England, so he can join his partners, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, or better known as, Harry and Hermione...back to Hogwarts School!
The privacy in Quinta do Lago and the "green fields" of golf, were like "delights" for the actor, who went to the beach only once, because he's not accustomed to the heat!

Driving Lessons is the next movie for the young actor Rupert Grint and his character (Ben) is pretty different from Ron's.
In this movie, Rupert plays the life of a youngster who, trying to run away from his mother's opressions, ends up working for a successful actress and he loses his virginity to a much older woman.
"It makes sense for Harry Potter to die"
J.K Rowling is already writing her 7th book and also the last one of her Harry Potter series. Collating with the latest news about the possibility of some protagonists deaths, Rupert confessed: "I have no idea of what will happen. She didn't give us any clue, not even one! I know I don't wanna die..."
But when it comes to his best friend, it's another story. "There are a lot of people who say Harry is going to die. If that happens, it will be sad and I don't wanna see it...", it relieves him."But it's the most probable end of the movie."
"She wants to end with everything, she doesn't want the story to keep going and she doesn't want to write more books. So, I think that it makes sense for Harry Potter to die. We're already counting on that."
He collects millions!
Rupert Grint was born on August 24th in 1988, in Hertfordshire, near London, and he's the oldest of all 5 children. Despite having done only one theatre part at school, when, at the age of 13, he was called to do the audition for "Ron", Rupert is already one of the most well-known British actors. He receives millions of cash for his movies and he also receives even more in publicity and other stuff. By the way, he has already bought a house on a private island!
After all, he totally deserves all this luxury. We only need to remember that the actor is one of the leading roles in the Harry Potter films, which are some of the most income-producing in the history of cinema: only the adaptations of the four Harry Potter books collected 3.5 billions of dollars all around the world!
