| I don't think if Derek decides to end his marriage that Mer will receive him with open arms... There will be a struggle for Derek to regain her trust, the way to earning back her trust will be an interesting route for him.
Learning more about his family wouldn't be a bad thing at all... They could make it a theme for this year IMO. Because we've got Mer's sisters, Izzie's daugther
