Keith Urban says he's over halfway finished recording a new album, and expects to release the first single around August. Meanwhile, Reba McEntire plans to release an album of duets by the end of the year, produced by Tony Brown. Ronnie Dunn has agreed to record a song, and Reba is lining up more of her favorite singers to appear on the album [also confirmed is Kelly Clarkson]. Martina McBride is selecting songs for her next CD, which she is set to record this fall. The follow-up to her album of classic country covers, Timeless, will feature all new material. The members of Sugarland report that work on their sophomore album is nearly complete, while Trick Pony is preparing its fourth album, with Tim McGraw producer Byron Gallimore behind the board. And Vince Gill's upcoming album will include duets with jazz singer Diana Krall and country legend John Anderson. John has a new album of his own in the works, to be produced by Big and Rich's John Rich.
