People have visited there & posed for pictures. I think that HBO's miniseries "Chernobyl" helped make visiting there more popular. I wouldn't go there of given a chance. I think that there is a statue of Vladimir Lenin also by 1 of the entrances to Chernobyl & I don't need or want to be reminded of him. Plus with the horror that went on there yeah it seems unnecessary at the least visiting that place.
