| I saw the setting as a combination of my private school and college put together, however I think some of the points that came across in the atmosphere of the school were slightly exaggerated - it's not how every boarding school is.
However, I definitely saw myself at some points as Lee, especially in the aftermath of her thing with Cross Sugarman. I especially remember the scene when he's playing basketball and she comes in and they have their argument. When I was young I also thought that hooking up meant you were a couple, how naive.
