Making MCU Carol a mutant is stupid. She's supposed to be a cosmic superhero, and I still think that adding that Binary crap from the X-Men to Carol's story in the MCU was a mistake. It detracts from the Protector of the Universe role.

Well, it seems this Cyclops remembers his time as a Champion. Shoot the body he's in isn't really his original body, but a new one so to speak with I think his soul/mind transferred into his new body.
Also I could see it being that the Professor merged the old comics memories with the new ones as well.
