Hi everyone!

On behalf of Goldenboy and the entire Management Team here, I would like to thank everyone here as we celebrate our 22nd Anniversary. Every milestone that we pass here is true testimony to the dedication of all the people who are a part of this website, from the Managers, to the Moderators, to the Members, and Managers of the various teams that help run this website, and most of all, to the Members that post here. I think that Fan Forum is still a great place for people to come together and talk about topics that interest them with other people with similar interests, and we all look forward to seeing Fan Forum continue to remain here for all of us in the years ahead.

What was the first board you posted on? The Dawson's Creek Board. I was linked to this website in January 1999 from a long since defunct Katie Holmes Website, and I liked the fact that people would discuss the show in detail, which was right up my alley.
Have you met anyone from in real life? Yes, I've met several people from Fan Forum in real life, both through planned trips to meet up with people I got to know here and also through meeting people at the Roswell-themed Fan Forum Parties that we had in 2001 and 2002. I also attended the wedding of two people that met through Fan Forum.

What was the first board you posted on? Young Americans. I was excited that a Canadian channel was airing reruns and wanted to share the information. Although I hadn't been a regular poster for years, I was saddened to see it close right after it celebrated it's 20th anniversary here last July.
What was the first board you moderated? Star Trek. I've been there since September 9th, 2002.

What was the first board you moderated? Television board back in 2003 with Wildfire Girl/Karen. Jerry asked me if I want to moderate the board even though I barely got any American TV shows in real time back in the day. I still post on the board.

What was the first board you posted on? The first board I ever posted on was the One Tree Hill board, mostly the Naley thread.
Have you met anyone from in real life? Yeees. I met my girls from the 1D board several times over the past years, the first time in 2015 for a One Direction concert. We were supposed to meet again in May this year, for a Harry Styles concert, but then covid happened.

What was the first board you posted on? The Buffy the Vampire Slayer board, which is still one of my all time favorite shows.
Have you met anyone from in real life? Yes, I met my husband. We met in 2001 and got married in 2002.

What was the first board you posted on? Gossip Girl. I found this site because I needed to talk more about the show, the characters, the actors, the ships. And the first board I moderated here was for one of the actors on the show - Jessica Szohr (who played Vanessa). I've also been a Mod at two other GG related boards: Chase Crawford (who played Nate) and Sebastian Stan (who played Carter).
How long have you been a manager? What do you do as a manager? It's been almost a year and a half now since I joined the Management Team, June 2019. And I've been a moderator for more than 10 years now. My responsibilities include evaluating Moderator applicants, conducting bi-annual activity checks, and helping to resolve conflicts that arise. You can typically find me on Sundays posting welcome threads when Mods are appointed. And did someone say thread tags - hi, how can I help?

What was the first board you moderated? The first board I moderated was Hawaii Five-0 (from February 2013 to March 2016) after the moderator that was leaving sent me a PM encouraging me to apply, and it was the best experience for me.
How long have you been a manager? What do you do as a manager? I've been a manager since June 2019. My duties as a manager is to do online activity checks on the moderators, organize the custom titles requests and keep the Moderator Birthday list updated, and most recently organize the Standard Avatars of

What was the first board you posted on? The Dawson’s Creek Board. I found the board in May 2001 while searching for spoilers for the show online.
What was the first board you moderated? The Sports Board. I was appointed on my birthday (December 4) in 2002 and have been moderating the board ever since.

What was the first board you posted on? It was either Friends or Zac Efron. I was interested in Matthew Perry so I posted on the Friends board. He was in a film with Zac Efron so I posted in the relevant thread on Zac's board.
How long have you been a manager? What do you do as a manager? I have been a manager since February 2020. I appoint MSTs to boards that need help and I mod the MST board.

What was the first board you posted on? James Lafferty. I was a big fan of One Tree Hill at the time and was Googling news and spoilers about the show. My favourite character was Nathan Scott, so when I stumbled upon this forum, I lurked for a while and then couldn't help but start posting. I still have the fondest memories from posting on that board.
How long have you been a manager? What do you do as a manager? I have been a manager for close to 5 years now. I'm the manager of the Communications Team which promotes Fan Forum to the online world. Some of my main responsibilities is setting up the list of different site-wide and board-specific updates to post on social media each month, select boards to be spotlighted and boards to find affiliates for.

What was the first board you posted on? Heroes. I had been following the Hayden/Milo thread for a while before I finally gave in and joined up.
Have you met anyone from in real life? Yes, it started with Yvonné and it has grown ever since. In 2016 I went on holidays with the entire 1D board (pretty much). Right now we're just trying to figure out our next holiday and concerts we want to go to all together.

What was the first board you moderated? What boards have you moderated? The first board I moderated was Pushing Daisies, where I was appointed to on June 20th 2010. Since then I've moderated Delta Goodrem, NCIS Franchise, Smash, Kelly Clarkson, & Charmed (2018).
How long have you been a manager & what do you do as a manager? I've been a manager since April 11th 2017, so about three & a half years. As one of the GT managers my main responsibilities, to put them simply, involve determining which boards need to be (re)customised & when. Doing so involves maintaining various different lists, contacting moderators for their opinions, & keeping an eye on board openings & closures.

What was the first board you posted on? ER. I was looking for a place to discuss the show and find fellow fans back in 2006 and was just what I was searching for. My English was terrible back then but I'm glad everyone was so supportive and that got me to improve my skills and stick around!
Have you met anyone from in real life? Yes, I've met a few people over the years, most importantly one of my now best friends Jen (Scythe), the previous Graphics Team Manager. We've been super close for almost ten years now.
