Firefox gave as explanation for not showing IG posts that FF did not have a permit for embedding Instagram posts on their website and hence the browser could not show them. Well I don't know what to think of this.
It was only for IG posts, but all IG posts. But now it seems to work fine again. Hopefully it stays that way. Thanks for trying to help either way.

now i do have the same problem
but i am using a MacBook pro and a safari browser. if i use firefox, i can see the IG posts but when i use safari web browser, instead of the IG pic it's just a huge white blank space. it's been like this for 1 day now.
edit: i found out that i can see the embedded IG when i am logged off of IG and deleted my cookies/cash. but as soon as i am logged in, i get this big white blank...
