Sorry for the cruel reminder, it sucks.
What is really cruel is what happened to Meredith Monroe. KW wanted her to come to Wilmington for a couple of weeks to film the ending. This is when it was supposed to end P/A and D/J. Meredith was in the middle of filming something. She moved heaven and earth to fly to Wilmington, to film for one day and fly back either that night or the next day, Only to have her scenes wind up on the cutting room floor. [TV version]
The scenes were put back in on one of the DVD versions later on.
That ranks right up there with her being removed from the series season four, with the flimsy excuse they had no more story lines for her excepting dating Dawson. Yeah OK.
