I agree with you on Season 7... it did Clark/Lana no favors as a couple, it just made some fans dislike them more and be proven right.
Oh that's awesome he shipped Chlark!
And him worried about Lois taking Chloe's place makes a lot of sense seeing as how Chloe was the journalist and Clark's main true confidant... everything Lois would become + romantic partner.
I hope he continues enjoying the season.
