| Many people told me that I could've played college ball at the Division II level a few years ago. But I never got the chance because I had to work full time and stopped playing ball unless I had a day off...three years later I am starting to play again, but I am not even half as good as I used to be. Now I just hope to become a playground legend like I used to be when I was graduating highschool.
My most memorable game has to be the one where it was my first time playing at this park, and being short and white it's hard to get in a game. I finally got onto a team, but was kicked off because one of the players wanted someone who was "actually good". So I joined the another team and got to play in the next game. My team was playing the team that turned me down and I ended up scoring 9 points and having about 5 steals to help my team win 15 to 10 or 9(all games are played to fifteen points by 1s and 2s). It felt pretty good to hear people saying "Damn, White boy has some skill", etc...after people first thought I wouldn't be any good because I look White. __________________ All Great Minds Think Like Me...
