other artists that i listen to have released a new record during the pandemic only in digital format. i wonder how they are doing but i doubt they are making that much money. the only ways to buy digital music is through platforms like amazon, google music, apple music. i wonder how much have they sold. some will release the physical copies later this year.
i still prefer buying physical copies through the artist. now with AFI, the problem is they ship from the USA. Same with Blaqk Audio. Years ago when i bought Blaqk Audio's Material, the buddle was like 40$ or something but the shipping and the handling (that fee came only later...billed by FedEx) to Canada was as expensive. It really put me off.
