It should be, I just don't have faith anymore that they will do it justice. And I just don't want them wasting time on messing it up more.
If this is gonna be right, we need to see them interact and actually talk, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Because that's the kind of stuff that goes down with real friends, especially as close as they apparently are and how long they have been friends.
And the talks can't be all one sided, or gloss over, they need to be real. There needs to be inside jokes, fighting, communicating, making up, laughing, talking about their lives, equal attention and not just one being the center of attention. Asking about their day to day stuff, noticing when stuff is off, respecting boundaries, supporting, listening, honesty.
It just has felt wrong, forced, and fake to me. The OG trio was a family and were there for each other, this is just cheesy artificial.
