For me it would've been having him date Peyton first. I think the refreshing angle would have been Peyton and Julian having a Lucas/Haley type of friendship. I just mean platonic friends and sweet friendship only. He could have visited his good friend Peyton in Tree Hill and then met Brooke romantically.
