Well that's why Clark and Lana ending in the Bride episode would've been interesting because Lana pretty much said the words that they were both scared to ever say, that probably they weren't meant to end up together... that took a whole lot of strength for her to say.
I still have an issue with the powersuit storyline... only good thing about that was the acting between TW and KK but I'm suppose to believe that Lana's destiny was to have Clark's powers to be a superhero....
