being a former service member herself, you know Gal is proud of this huge accomplishment in equality. being a former service member myself also, i am super impressed because it takes a lot to succeed in high risk missions within the military, and against the glass ceiling no less. although i never faced the glass ceiling as a man obviously, there are many other barriers to face other than gender and race bias, there are physical limitations like height, eyesight, weight, mental outlook, even now they are working on eliminating height requirements for pilots and other high-risk jobs.
equality has come a long way, and there is still quite a ways to go.
