You know, the time traveling bit isn’t so fun anymore. And after last night’s episode, I’m more confused than ever about it.

I don’t understand how some things are immediately changed and others aren’t. For example, in the last episode, Daisy attracts Nathaniel’s interest after holding him hostage and his viewing her power. Because of that, he decides experiment on her. Now, on other hand, if Mack’s parents are dead to history (after killing the LMD versions of them), he and his brother would have grown up completely different than how things happened the first time around. How come that didn’t automatically create a change?

On the Sousy front, I’m happy that Daisy wasn’t alone when she was taken. Though she was tortured (for the 3rd time). Seriously, torture porn maybe? I can’t think of why that would happen to her AGAIN. However, I’m glad that someone was there to help her and her talk her through things. The way he pulled her head on his lap and when he was running his hands through her hair as he spoke about Mike Stevens. It was just so precious. The bit where he pulled the glass shard from her hand was really cringe worthy though. And at the end of the episode when he was sitting next to her while she was in the chamber and his “I’m where I need to be.” Awww. So sweet.

I found Nathaniel a mix between incredibly dangerous and somewhat humorous but demented. The way he looked at Daisy, talking about her vibe… I’m surprised he didn’t whip it out and just start going to town. However, I liked the way that he referred to Hive. It was refreshing after his father and brother were so…faithful.

Nathaniel: “Hydra? I look like Hydra to you? Look at Ron’s suit. He’s dressed like that because he has mouths to feed, not because he worships that space octopus.”

Given everything, I think that it was a nice comeuppance that his body reacted the way it did to her powers. I suppose he probably thought that she was telekinetic more than anything. I assume he died…unless he somehow pops up in the next coming episodes.

Okay, not digging Mack in this episode. I feel for him, I do. After facing what he did. However, he was so angry with Deke for shooting Malick, which yeah, I get on the one hand. On the other hand, he stopped his parents (or so he thought they were his parents) from dying and then ‘rescued’ them. Wouldn’t that be creating waves? So, yeah, not thrilled with his hypocrisy.

And I just loved the conversation between Coulson and Sybil. I’m not sure if that’s how it’s spelled, but I’m too lazy to look it up. However, the conversation was a refreshing change from the usual fighting we’ve seen between the gang and the Chronicoms. Oh, his muttering of ‘that’s my girl,’ when Sybil told him about Daisy having been taken.

I enjoyed the interaction between Jemma and Deke and his “what was that and I’m just guessing, how’s it going to kill us?” I’m glad that she told someone what was going on (at least just a bit of it). However, when she mentioned the name Diana and his reaction was disconcerting. Has the name of his mother ever been revealed? If Diana is somehow part Simmons… What if instead of being Fitzsimmons’ grandson, he’s their son?
